Art Gallery


The Art Gallery at the Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center reflects the beauty of nature and the importance of conservation. All proceeds from the art gallery allow FOMCI to support the MCINWR.

Current featured artists

LOCAL Student Art Show!

Creating a World of Positivity: Envisioning Healthy Oceans & Creature Connections

Through a partnership with Leaps of Imagination, South School artists from grades 3,4, and 5 present animal portraits and collagraphs representing an original “tale” of two Maine animals.

Oceanside High School - Flora and Fauna: A Teenage Perspective

Oceanside High School students are showcasing their artwork, including drawings, paintings, and photographs. The exhibition features students from grades 9 through 12. The theme centers around the natural world, local people, and landscapes. Each student has created original pieces informed by their personal understanding of environmental topics, emphasizing concepts such as sense of place, native wildlife, and environmental awareness.

This exhibition runs April 11th through May 22, 2026
