September is always an awesome month to visit Monhegan island for migrating warblers and other songbirds. Plus, the island is a magnet for attracting rare birds so we might be lucky and see something great! Our trip will depart promptly from Port Clyde’s Monhegan Boat Line at 7 am and you can decide if you want to return the same day on either the 12:30 pm ferry ride or the 4:30 pm ferry ride. The choice is yours on the return, but we plan on birding the entire day until 4:30 pm. Participants will be responsible for reserving their own ferry ticket (Monhegan Boat Lines) and remember to pack a lunch. Meet at the Monhegan Boat Lines Ferry in Port Clyde. Space is limited in the group, please sign up anyone in your party who is attending.
If this walk is full, please email info@mainecoastislands.org to be added to the waitlist.
