Mid-October is always a good time of year for hardy sparrows passing through the area. During the walk we will pay close attention to the open fields and gardens that Erickson Fields Preserve has to offer. The woods portion of the walk should produce some thrushes and a few lingering warblers. High overhead we will be on the lookout for migrating hawks and eagles. Meet at the Erickson Fields parking lot on Route 90 in Rockport.
